Job Description:
Position Summary
This Portfolio Delivery Manager is a program lead who will help plan, coordinate and manage the execution of the Global Financial Regulatory Reporting Automation transformation activities and portfolio of projects.
Assist with the coordination of efforts to source and adopt ADS data and report automation technology; modernize applications portfolio; educate and up skill teams; provide tools and leverage vendor services to facilitate execution
Hands on presentation and documentation creation as needed. Strong partnership with business, technology and infrastructure teams across the bank and ability to partner with senior stakeholders on planning and prioritizing the work from a benefit and capacity perspective.
This role is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which requires engagement from teams across multiple organizations.
Key responsibilities include communicating the target outcomes, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing visibility into the health of the program.
This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost. They manage financials for the program, assist with resource planning, and facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Risk and Compliance partners.
Responsibilities

  • Establish the target outcomes in partnership with the stakeholders and leaders.
  • Establish and build relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the program routines (for example, kick-off, status reviews, workgroup meetings, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on).
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations.
  • Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline.
  • Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal.
  • Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
  • Ensure the work delivered complies with Enterprise Change Management standards and other applicable standards.
  • Track the success metrics and review performance with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage the financials and assist with resource planning for the program.
  • Will be in charge of staffing and managing a small team.


Required Skills

  • 10+ years Portfolio and/or Project management experience on big technology transformations within financial services industry
  • Prior experience leading large-scale program and project efforts at Bank of America or other global financial services organization
  • Demonstrated strength of communication skills at the senior executive level
  • Ability to plan and direct routines and reporting to drive accountability, transparency and collaboration
  • Excels at adapting to changing business needs with ability to balance multiple competing priorities in an extremely dynamic environment
  • Ability to inspire an audience with diverse business objectives to agree upon and move forward on concepts and recommendation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordingly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical working knowledge of Agile Methodologies and tools including JIRA and Confluence


Desired Skills

  • Previous experience within transformation / SIM type programs
  • Previous experience with Bank of America stability efforts and/or non-permitted technology processes
  • Agile certification a plus
