Senior Operations Coordinator Overview

The Senior Operations Coordinator role is responsible for leading team initiatives, monitoring deliverables and deadlines, providing direction and guidance to other team members, and contributing to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this role is responsible for onboarding and offboarding of staff on scoring projects, communication, reporting, material processing, data collection and analysis.

Please note that this is a regular full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training to other representatives and maintain documentation on team processes
  • Coordinate responsibilities of Operations Coordinators across shifts
  • Create and maintain implementation schedules for projects
  • Provide daily reports to meet project quality goals
  • Onboarding and offboarding of remote staff on various internal systems
  • Managing email communication to remote staff
  • Provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
  • Perform problem resolution, troubleshooting and diagnosing of various issues during the administrative process
  • Maintain and update employee records
  • Process training materials necessary for system setup
  • Oversee and troubleshoot processes responsible for employee compensation
  • Contribute to on-going department process development and improvement
  • Provide complete documentation of issues handled
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Education, skills, and knowledge

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college or technical training preferred; or a combination of education and experience
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word are required
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) are required along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Be able to take feedback, revise, and resubmit work if necessary
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks to meet project needs


Work Environment

  • Core work hours are 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. During temporary peak season, must have the ability to work a flexible schedule as business needs require. This may include extended weekday hours and occasional weekend hours.
  • This is a remote position. Potential candidates must have fast internet connection and the ability to work effectively from home.


As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $17.00-19.00. This position is not bonus eligible, and information on benefits offered is here.
