Senior Merchandising Operations Analyst
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a Senior Merchandising Operations Analyst on the Merchandising Systems and Services team (MSS) in Dania Beach, Florida. The Merchandising Systems and Services Team (MSS) team is responsible for creating the systems, services, and process infrastructure for all Chewy businesses. Our team’s mission is to be the backbone for Chewy’s Business/Category teams, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth, and profitability. We own the Pricing, Catalog/Content, and Vendor Systems & Services that have automation, product, program, and operational components.
What You’ll Do:
- Promptly manage and resolve customer issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA) with a customer first mindset, communicate effectively with external partners to ensure an optimal vendor experience
- Learn quickly and understand current processes, proactively identify issues and inefficiencies, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders to improve efficiency reduce cycle time
- Translate business processes to business requirements and standard operating procedure (SOP)
- Autonomously complete tasks within the track owned for a given system
- Synthesize large quantities of complex data into usable/actionable information
- Participate in system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution)
What You’ll Need:
- BA in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related degree (preferably in General Management/Finance/Computer Science/Tech Management/Engineering)
- 1+ years of related work experience and demonstrated track record of innovation and impact
- Results oriented mindset with the ability to react quickly to requests in a timely, accurate and detail-oriented manner
- Experience using dashboards to monitor KPIs, identify and correct defects, perform root cause analysis on KPI misses
- Ability to independently collaborate with merchants and deliver results on tight timelines
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality
- Proficient Excel and MS Office skills
- Strong oral and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Position may require occasional travel
Bonus:
- Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.)
- Prior experience SQL
- E-commerce or merchandising background
