This is an exciting opportunity for a Travel and Card Strategic Sourcing leader to build and manage Gopuff’s global travel program from the ground up. We are searching for a Travel leader to develop all aspects of the travel and card program including development of program and market strategy, supplier partnerships, policies, execution, and management. This is a highly visible role and an opportunity to cultivate relationships with internal and external partner teams to lead adoption of an innovative travel program.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Travel category strategy development, supplier negotiations, and ongoing supplier management in support of Gopuff’s travel program
• Establish and drive global travel and card strategies to allow Gopuff to maximize quality, cost, speed and scalability for all travel purchases
• Manage global travel supplier relationships: TMC, OBT, Expense, Card, Airline, Hotel, Car, and Rail travel partners and develop “win-win” engagement strategies to cultivate sustainable relationships with key suppliers
• Lead implementation and change management efforts to roll-out complete T&E program (agency, tools and policy) companywide, including training and communications
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure travel program is aligned with Finance, HR, Product and Legal requirements 
• Develop KPIs and SLAs to measure success of travel program and suppliers as well as identify opportunities for enhancement
• Manage a team who is responsible for auditing submitted expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with policy
• Provide end user support – Interact with Gopuff employees on all aspects related to travel and expense questions and issues
• Maintain T&E policy while driving accountability and responsibility for compliance
• Develop expense reporting: analyze trends, out of policy spend, control weaknesses and cost savings opportunities
• Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality while working with cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of travel management and/or strategic sourcing experience
• Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills, verbal and written communication and a self-starter
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Willingness to dive deep into problems and data to develop solutions
