Summary of Role:

The focus of this role is working within the Messaging function of Enterprise Infrastructure Services - Digital Experience and Collaboration group.

Manage a group of 5-8 resources• Oversight of Exchange based messaging services with an emphasis on supplier management, SLA compliance, and operational excellence• Lead key projects and resources to advance messaging and collaboration capabilities• Interface with the RTX business units to gather requirements and deliver collaborative solutions to meet the business needs in a timely and cost-effective manner• Technical consulting for messaging service enhancements and integrations (i.e. federations, 3rd party tools)• Support messaging operations transitions for acquisitions and divestitures• Play a key role in enhancing the RTX Employee Messaging Experience

Responsibilities:

Subject matter expert with Collaborative technologies particularly, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Skype and Teams.

Management of moderate-large size projects that requires interfacing with multiple technical lines of service and business unit DT management.

Coaching of lower-level professionals and outsourced support organizations including influencing others regarding policies, practices and procedures.

Project management skills including ability to develop and track projects using MS Project.

Proficiency with Excel and data analysis functions.

Solid understanding of Microsoft offerings in general; including O365 and Azure AD.

Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.

Initiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:• Strong organizational and project management skills.• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, SQL, .Net and Powershell• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.• Excellent verbal communication skills.• Good problem-solving skills.

Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.

Education

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

• US Citizen or US Person required as work may involve visibility to ITAR related projects.
