Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Partnerships & Licensing will lead key strategic licensing and partnerships initiatives at Ruggable. The ideal candidate will enjoy a healthy mix of strategy development and hands-on execution. You will develop a licensing/partnerships strategy, identify target partners, conduct business development, negotiate terms, and manage partner relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead licensing and partnership strategy development
- Prospect, build and manage relationships with licensing partners
- Evaluate potential licensing partnerships through quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Negotiate licensing contracts with partners
- Lead end-to-end licensing process management including business development, contract negotiation, and partner relationship management
- Stay up to date with major cultural and design trends
- Create and deliver effective verbal and written business updates
- Manage a small team of Licensing Coordinators
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of work experience in licensing and/or strategic partnerships
- Proven track record in growing and developing a licensing business
- Experience negotiating licensing contracts
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Previous people leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team
Preferred
- Experience in Retail/E-Commerce, especially with furniture, textiles, or apparel, is a plus
