About the Role:

As the Senior Manager, IT Engineer at Entera, you’ll oversee internal IT operations at Entera. You’ll architect, manage, and grow a suite of best-in-class IT infrastructure and tools. You’ll manage tracking systems, provisioning and replacement schemes for end user devices. While managing the tasking of support tickets and engaging directly with Entera’s employees around the globe, you’ll lead from the front and develop processes and procedures for all of IT infrastructure at the company in partnership with other Technology leaders. You’ll work to integrate Entera’s enterprise applications - maximizing the use of SSO automated MDM and our device agents and cloud directories. In this role, your customers will primarily be sophisticated internal employees as well as managing 3rd party vendor relationships, tools and solutions. You will oversee and maintain the internal team that handles IT in our US offices. You’ll participate in leadership and management responsibilities over a small but growing in-house team.

What you’ll do:

• Be a people leader. Build and manage a team and best in class organization
• Develop and rollout OKRs and KPIs for the IT organization
• Build and own device and tools inventories across the organization
• Lead team in sprint-planning and standups to capacity plan
• Work with Entera’s Technology and Senior management to define and implement best-in-class cybersecurity and device policies for our growing organization
• Develop programs to ensure best practices and usage of Entera’s tools are consistent across the organization
• Manage deployments of industry standard cloud tools like Meraki, Ubiquiti and JumpCloud which automate Windows and Mac infrastructure and security
• Work with other leaders across the company to ensure that our physical offices and remote employees are setup to maximize employee productivity
• Work with Entera’s HR teams to ensure seamless new hire onboarding and timely delivery of devices
• Help our mixed on-site and remote team perform at their best
• Work with our various teams on improving resiliency and replace any aged infrastructure in a timely manner 

You should have:

• 8+ years hands-on experience in mixed Mac and PC environments
• 3+ years experience in managing people and teams
• Experience developing strategies for team growth and personnel development
• Experience in directing 3rd party vendors and internal constituents
• Automation experience in desktop infrastructure at scale
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service orientation
• Expertise in managing G Suite, Office 365, Meraki, and JumpCloud
• Solid Networking, Architecture, and IT Process experience, configuring devices, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
• Bulletproof analytical and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of modern Mac/PC application deployment methodologies and strategies
• Security-centric mindfulness in all activities
