Summary

International Services is a dynamic and complex function that is fundamental to Simplot's growth strategy. The position of Senior Manager International Services is responsible for managing all aspects of international documentation, compliance, carrier booking, order management, initiatives, & processes. This role provides guidance, oversight, and direct supervision to the International Services Team. This position will report to the Senior Director Global Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to the International Services Team.
• Plans, organizes, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the International Services Team.
• Effectively interfaces with Global Trade and Regulatory Compliance, Affiliate offices, Sales Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure our international customers receive the required service, in a cost-effective manner, that also meets all regulatory requirements.
• Manages the process, and resolves issues, pertaining to daily international transactions from order to shipment and documentation submission.
• Oversees the tactical execution of ocean carrier contracts and, in doing so, ensures carrier assignments are made in a manner that ensures cost effective customer service.
• Ensures the ongoing development of subordinates to support current and future business needs while maintaining a highly motivated team environment.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university (Preferably in International Business or Supply Chain)

Relevant Experience

5+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

• Familiarity with the use of international shipping regulations and terms, including customs documents, duties and duty drawback, INCO terms, liability, and sources of potential charges is necessary.
• Customs Broker License Preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious accommodations will be considered as appropriate).
