Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management
About the job
The Red Hat Business Unit is looking for a Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management to join us in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will develop, document, implement, and manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) operational framework, strategy, and tactical roadmap of policies and technologies to ensure people have the appropriate access to technology resources.
What you will do
- Oversee the creation of procedures and governance for program management and regulatory requirements for Identity and Access Management related to legacy systems, cloud applications, and privileged access
- Develop and maintain a Continuous Improvement Process to improve the Identity and Access offering, including Identity Provider Service (IdP), Identity Governance and Administration service (IGA), and the Secrets Management service to ensure these are up-to-date and aligned with evolving risk and industry factors
- Work with business users and key stakeholders to define and implement the appropriate provisioning, approval, and audit trail, and deprovisioning tasks
- Execute the delivery of a strategic Identity and Access Management roadmap, delivering efficient, effective, and supportable solutions, complying with internal processes, security requirements, and appropriate policies
- Collaborate with other department heads to advise on technology issues to improve Identity and Access Management efficiency and effectiveness
- Mentor and lead technical associates to deliver and support the Identity and Access Management framework and strategy
- Contribute to the design and delivery of Identity and Access Management (IAM) program communications with senior leadership by providing Quarterly Business Reviews of the IAM portfolio offering, strategic program updates, and quarterly executive briefings on progress objectives, and financial forecast and budgetary updates
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Identity and Access Management to internal and external business and technology teams by helping business partners integrate new solutions under the Red Hat portfolio using secure and reliable Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and services
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, or related and 6+ years of experience in the job offered or related role
- 6+ years of experience with: encryption, access control, cryptographic key management, and PKI life cycle management information security; common identity, authentication, authorization, and directory services like Active Directory, Kerberos, and LDAP; authentication, authorization, role-based access and RHEL, Windows, and MacOS, and Enterprise Applications
- 5+ years of experience with OAuth, Authentication, Authorization, SAML, FIDO, FIDO 2, and OpenID industry standard solutions
- 4+ years of experience with: deploying and supporting Password Vaulting or Password Management solutions; Okta, One Login, ADFS, and Google Identity IDP technologies; privacy and data protection requirements, data classification, and securing data through access management; National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) information security frameworks; and S-OX, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS compliance requirements
- 2+ years of experience with: identity integrations with modern HRIS systems including Workday; and user life cycle processes and experience automating user life cycle processes
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time; travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.
