As the Senior Manager, HRIT, you will manage a Quality Assurance (QA) Team responsible for testing and identifying issues in our HR suite of systems. You will also manage our HRIT Integration platform roadmap and strategy (including tool selection), development and support standards, planning and coordination with our Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture teams.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Oversee and support the design, development, deployment and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premises using Dell Boomi Atmosphere platform, SAP Integration Center, SAP Cloud Platform and Talend Data Integration
  • Responsible for designing test strategies, developing test schedules, writing test plans and test cases and executing against the plan
  • Coordinate and manage test execution cycles/calendar to meet release and project schedules
  • Manage the effective utilization of test environments to support multiple projects and releases during various stages of software deployment from development through to production
  • Ensure integration solutions are delivered in a timely, cost-effective, quality manner while meeting business expectations
  • Oversee integration development, manage priorities, coordinate cross-area projects, assign tasks, resolve issues/roadblocks and handle deployment/support activities
  • Maintain test evidence and other test artifacts for audit compliance
  • Provide training and support to the QA team in alignment of a continuous improvement strategy with senior management
  • Oversee coordination and scheduling of both outsourced and in-house testing services by reviewing testing strategies and documentation for IT efforts, monitoring progress of deliverables and coordinating with direct reports
  • Establish, implement and maintain metrics for measuring performance and evaluating QA operations with a focus on quality of solutions and adherence to SDLC processes

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS or other technical area, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of years of cross-functional IT Integrations solutions development and technical project management experience
  • 5 years of QA experience in HR, payroll, benefits or time and attendance area

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Master's degree Computer Science or other closely related technical field
  • 7 years of cross-functional IT Integrations solutions development and technical project management experience
  • 3 years of Dell Boomi or similar iPaaS toolset experience
  • 3 years of experience managing and/or leading self-directed teams of professionals
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, data model, SFAPI/ODATA API and Integration Center
  • Solid knowledge of IT system development lifecycle, development methodologies and processes, architectural environments, security standards and technology tools
  • Strong project management skills; demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources and to develop, recommend and implement solutions
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up and understand new technologies and apply the new technology to the benefits of the business
