Shelf Engine is searching for a talented Senior Manager of Customer Launch to join our rapidly growing company. Shelf Engine is on a mission to reduce food waste through automation, and a critical part of our success is efficiently onboarding new customers and vendors every single week. We are looking for a fearless leader to own and scale the customer launch function. If you have a passion for sustainability, an entrepreneurial heart, and can combine highly strategic thinking with detailed process improvement, this may be your dream job. This role reports directly to our Head of Customer Success, with a high level of visibility to the executive leadership team.

This position is based in Seattle, WA.

As Senior Manager of Customer Launch at Shelf Engine, you will:

  • Serve as the "general manager" for all new customer launches; work with customers and internal Shelf Engine teams to plan and execute successful launches
  • Create a best-in-class customer launch function, which is crucial for Shelf Engine as we enter a phase of high growth
  • Collaborate effectively with leaders of internal teams including Sales, Operations, Product, and Customer Success
  • Create and execute new initiatives to optimize processes, including technical implementation
  • Obtain a deep understanding of our customer’s unique challenges and goals, and create an excellent experience for every new customer
  • Lead, mentor, and grow our high-performing Customer Launch team
  • Embrace our company principles through inclusive, authentically kind, and empathetic interactions with our team and our customers

And we think you would make a great Senior Manager of Customer Launch if you have:

  • 6+ years of business operations or project management experience at a high-growth B2B company, or in a similarly fast-paced environment (e.g., management consulting) 
  • 3+ years experience managing and coaching high-performing teams
  • Innovative and strategic thinker, able to solve problems beyond daily tactical and operational needs
  • Entrepreneurial ability to imagine new initiatives from scratch, and drive them to completion
  • Experience developing new processes to maximize operational efficiency 
  • Excellent communication skills, and an ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
