The Senior Manager of Change Execution is responsible for enabling business partners across the enterprise to perform changes in a thoughtful, consistent, and reliable manner to prevent consumer harm. Minimizing harm arising from Consumer Impacting Events (CIEs) as a result of change is a key component of Operational Excellence, Discover’s top priority. This role will partner with and support Initiative Owners and others managing change across the enterprise.
This highly visible role will play a critical part in driving quality so that Discover can reduce risk, better serve customers, and spend more capacity on strategic work rather than fixing errors.
Responsibilities
Determining the proper level of change management for a given project and helping end users navigate the process
Shepherding key initiatives through the Change Management process
Running forums for change process owners and Change Management toolkit users to introduce updates, collect feedback, and share best practices
Supporting the Change Management Toolkit team to drive continuous improvement and transparency to end users
Leading change forecasting and resource alignment efforts across business units
Run problem solving sessions to resolve blockers to effective change management
Maintaining Office Hours to answer questions
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
4+ years of experience in Financial Services, Technology, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, Project Management, Scaled Agile or Agile Development Project Management, Product Owner, Technology Architect, Software Development, or related field
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Scaled Agile or Agile Development Project Management, Technology Architect, Software Development, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
