Senior Manager, 401(k) Transactions

What you get to do every day
Build out the money movement functions (Loans, Distributions, Record Keeping) for Human Interest’s Financial Operations team and serve as a thought leader, helping the organization achieve and maintain competitive advantage through excellence in operations management and efficiency.
- Ensure the successful execution of all 401k transaction processing. Oversee the strategic roadmap to build the Contribution Trade Operations and Adjustments teams in every way.
- Monitor and mitigate risks for the operation.
- Hire and manage a top tier team of Financial Operations leaders and team members, ensure work is reviewed for quality and efficient output, analyze and aggregate data to drive process, policy improvements and systemic change across the operational space.
- Ensure the team is set up for scalability and sustainability in process and systemic capacities.
- Monitor and react to changes in leading Indicators and other KPIs to drive excellence in processing financial transactions.
- Identify business requirements and operate as a stakeholder to ensure appropriate implementation of software tools to support designated areas of Financial Operations. Drive the improvement of core tooling and systems.
- Work as a SME, guiding our operations specialists and operational leaders to drive daily performance.
- Partner with Operational leadership to review team and individual performance. Collaborate on developing action plans to improve specialist performance, Customer Experience and cost to serve.
- Decrease the time it takes to resolve issues by identifying and providing insights to operational leaders and training team members. Drive improvement in customer satisfaction and decrease SLA by improving the output of individual contributors.
What you bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services Management or related position.
- 5+ years of experience in people management.
- 5+ years of financial services experience specifically in 401k processing preferred.
- Understanding of SaaS business motions and customer lifecycle.
- Proven leadership skills with large and complex workflows.
- Passion for people - history of developing, mentoring, training and up-leveling skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding team objectives.
- Excellent written and spoken communication.
- Ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Human Interest.
- Possess top-notch organizational and analytical skills.
- Use data to inform business decisions and drive goals.
- Master’s Degree or similar, relevant educational background.

Compensation -
The salary range for this role is between $109,000 - $140,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, and may vary by location. Exact compensation will be determined by the candidates' skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
