The Senior IT Systems Administrator role is a key member of Firmwide Operations and our internal IT Team to support our Workday HRIS system. This role supports business application efforts by designing technical solutions and implementation plans to meet requirements. The successful candidate is customer minded and a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:  

Actively influence and contribute to the overall strategy and planning for HR, other People areas, and assigned functional domain areas 

Create and maintain high-level business architecture with enterprise architecture strategy 

Designs technical solutions and implementation plans to meet requirements 

Develops project management artifacts, including work back schedules, dependency diagrams, issue/risk

Supports business application efforts by leading and participating with the team in leadership, support, design & build, testing, Agile/Scrum activities, projects 

Leads and mentors more junior members of the team 

Provides thought leadership for one or more applications 

Helps others understand important elements of IT systems 

Provides Tier 3 support for end users of related applications 

Helps improve documentation and support material for end users 

Partners with Change Management Specialist on comms and training material 

Implements configurations for new functionality based on design 

Tests own work 

Tests & validates others’ work 

Participates in Agile/Scrum activities as part of an Agile team 

Prioritizes project work and manages tasks in Atlassian/JIRA 

Collaborates on or lead projects that impact the company 

Works with partners/vendors when needed 

Duties also include identifying and fixing bugs, monitoring, and resolving system performance, and facilitating ad hoc requests as requested to support internal customers. 

Supports team effort and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams 

Consistently demonstrates and lives Point B cultural tenets and values 

Participates in firm culture activities to connect regularly with other Point B’ers

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:  

4-8 years experience with Workday HCM software administration

Good understanding of Workday HCM environment/deployment management and configuration best practices 

Understanding of Workday HCM application architecture, development, and integration practices 

Understanding of Agile principles. Exposure to Jira or similar work management tool 

Experience as the lead technical resource on one or more large projects 

3+ years of exposure to ERP systems 

Experience with large datasets (50GB+) 

Experience with administering Lever ATS preferred

 COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $140,500 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.

 

Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
