Role Overview

As the Senior HRIS Administrator you will leverage your strong technical expertise with Dayforce, serving as subject matter expert and designing systems for scale while supporting day to day configurations, troubleshooting, and functional support for Dayforce. Will be responsible for configuration in HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Security and Onboarding Modules. This role reports to the Director of Operations, Teammate Technology Engineering and Operations. You will interact with other system administrators, relevant Centers of Excellence (COEs), Business partners and the shared services team, vendors, and key stakeholders. As a member of the HRIS team, you will have a visible and vocal role in projects and functions. You will be responsible for the integrity and reporting of data within the HRIS, Dayforce. Job Responsibilities
  • Act as subject matter expert and provide functional support for HRIS configuration in HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Security, Onboarding and other Modules
  • Maintain security and permissions, role-based access and conduct regular user access audits to ensure information is restricted on a need-to-know basis while providing users access to what they need to perform
  • Evaluates the effectiveness and integrity of HRIS system information security. Ensures that the HRIS systems security protocols are consistent with the company's systems security policies and practices. Works with the Information Security Team to define system access and monitors the utilization of systems functions
  • Engaging with stakeholders and maintaining a prioritized product backlog.
  • Support agreement of global process model, localizations and associated HRIS updates and changes
  • Develops reports to meet customer needs and drive business results and collaborates with other areas to accomplish complex reporting requests, including automation of reports where possible.
  • Explores best practices for HRIS configuration and provides consultation to better meet internal customer needs by engaging with Ceridian Dayforce community
  • Maintain watching brief on relevant market, best practice, and tool developments
  • Provide second-level support of Ceridian Dayforce to end users resulting from first-level escalations and maintenance of the product backlog
  • Make mass updates in Dayforce for compensation updates, job changes, etc.
  • Actively research for new enhancements and releases in Dayforce (and other HR Technology Solutions), and continually challenge decisions to deliver an HRIS environment which is empowering for a global community
  • Establish & manage intake process for system administration requests, partnering with ITSM and ServiceNow developer to define service request catalogs and automate request workflows
  • Establish incident and problem management practices for supported systems from initial identification through to root cause analysis and resolution, in line with AvidXchange's ITSM practices

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 4 or more years as a system administrator
  • Minimum of 2 or more years administration and configuration on Dayforce system with increasing complexity and demonstrating continuous improvement over time
  • Experience with Dayforce HRIS system across multiple modules such as HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Security and Onboarding Modules
  • Bachelor's degree (relevant experience and/or certification in specialist HR/IT function may be substituted for degree, when appropriate)

Desired Experience, Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience and exposure with other HRIS systems like Workday and/ or Taleo
  • Demonstrated willingness to mentor and support teammates
  • Demonstrated history of developing solid cross-functional partnerships to improve systems and processes
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting technology for a company with a global employee population preferred
