Credit Karma is building our Education Operations practice from the ground up, and as our first Education Operations hire you will help establish systems, processes, and tools that will shape Talent Development (TD) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs at Credit Karma. You will be a strategic partner to the TD and DEI teams, enabling deadlines, and executing the delivery of our programs that impact all employees at Credit Karma. You will embrace complex problems, operationalizing our most high-impact programs, as well as brand new offerings, in creative and resourceful ways. You will build and evolve engagement, enabling feedback loops, and eliminating roadblocks to keep our teams focused on their most impactful work. You will report to the Head of Talent Development. 

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Talent Development (TD) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) to scope programs, set project roadmaps, and own operations and logistics for many flagship programs
  • Build scalable and efficient workflows that allow us to launch and maintain learning experiences for Karmanauts across our offices in Oakland, Charlotte, Culver City and London
  • Partner with DEI and TD teams to manage program roadmaps, calendars, and launches
  • Create and document resources related to DEI, management, leadership, and career development best practices
  • Support the marketing and communications of our talent development offerings across all of Credit Karma’s offices
  • Lead quarterly planning and prioritization for the TD team to ensure alignment with key Talent and Business partners
  • Own vendor management and procurement processes to enable TD and DEI programs
  • Partner with our Talent team to assess the impact of our programs in areas including participation, effectiveness, and employee engagement
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned like new hire orientation support and off-site event coordination

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of prior professional experience in HR, Recruiting or Learning & Development

What we would like to see:

  • Project and program management experience: organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
  • Experience managing workflows, project plans, and shipping high-quality programs (workshops, classes, off-sites, etc.)
  • Experience administering Learning Management Systems (e.g. Docebo, Litmos)
  • Experience in and/or a passion for education in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Talent Development fields 
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and transparently, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all levels
  • Views learning as your job and actively keep up with trends and best practices
  • Experience with high-volume, repeatable and detailed processes where accuracy is paramount
  • Respect for maintaining a high level of confidentiality
