Senior Director, Strategy and Business Operations - Location Flexible
Role Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Director of Strategy and Business Operations, reporting into Dropbox’s VP of Strategy. You'll get to work on a wide range of strategic business projects across Pricing & Packaging, Go to Market, and Strategic Planning which have the potential to impact our entire $2B+ business. You’ll gain significant exposure to our GM’s, Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Growth, and other senior leaders across Dropbox.
You are an accomplished people manager, self-starter, and independent thinker; with exceptional analytical skills, capable of handling highly confidential information, while supporting a rapidly changing organization. You do not shy away from rolling up your sleeves or from building creative solutions to problems that have not yet been tackled. You recognize where end-to-end processes can be improved, and take the initiative to improve them.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to build a strong understanding of our products’ value proposition and develop a packaging and pricing strategy for our suite of products
- Manage strategic projects related to business initiatives across Dropbox; with a focus on innovative and customer-friendly approaches for go to market
- Manage all facets (strategy, processes, systems, reporting) surrounding the pricing of products and collaborate with the deal desk on effective adoption of pricing guidelines
- Monitor key metrics and market / competitive intelligence to derive insights and to identify opportunities for evolving pricing across our portfolio
- Manage various non-technical initiatives of the Strategy team, including Pricing/Packaging and Competitive Analysis
- Support our VP of Strategy on cross Dropbox Strategy, Strategic Planning, and Business Operations
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Packaging & Pricing and/or Business Management (GM)
- Ability to conduct data-rich analysis and to build consensus around recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management
- Extensive experience crafting monetization strategy and leading strategic pricing initiatives in the SaaS/subscription industry
- Experience managing and running concurrent projects with complex stakeholder dynamics
- A player / coach mentality that makes you excited to roll up your sleeves to advance projects directly, while also managing small high performing teams
