Job Description
The Now Platform is the core technology layer that empowers everything at ServiceNow, from our best in class SaaS offerings to our partner and developer ecosystem and as a standalone PaaS offering. As ServiceNow continues to aggressively grow and innovate, we are looking for a strong leader to join our Product Platform Strategic Operations team as we scale to $15B+ in revenue annually. This is a unique opportunity to shape and execute the next-generation platform strategy for a $100B+ company.
Reporting to the VP of Strategic Operations, Product Platform, the Senior Director of Strategic Operations will drive operations, strategy, and cross-functional initiatives for the Platform Organization, including:
- Preparing and presenting materials for ServiceNow’s C-level executive team and Board of Directors
- Provide leadership and oversight to critical and highly-visible cross functional workstreams that will have a significant impact on ServiceNow’s Platform, Workflow and Engineering roadmaps
- Drive key operational processes, including strategic planning, annual planning, organization design, and hitting hiring plans
- Drive greater alignment and coordination between Platform Product and Workflow Product teams, thereby increasing agility and innovation on the Now Platform
- Drive decision-making velocity to ensure we innovate faster for our customers by constantly removing internal inhibitors
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 15+ years of experience with a focus on Platform, Product, and / or Product Operations and Engineering
- Management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development or investment banking / private equity experience is a plus
- Demonstrated skill in simplifying and synthesizing complex questions to drive clarity and decision-making for Senior Executives and Board of Directors
- Effective cross-functional leader, able to partner and drive impact and influence across diverse individuals and teams, including engineering, analytics, design, marketing, and senior executives
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills in front of customers, partners, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead global and diverse teams, including fostering an environment of mentorship and career growth to team members
- Self-starter with growth mindset and relentlessly positive attitude
