Invitae is seeking a Senior Director to lead all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Human Resource Information System (HRIS) programs for the Company. The Global ERP and HRIS Lead will be spearheading the integration of Oracle ERP and a HRIS solution within Invitae. This is an opportunity to scope, initiate, and deliver solutions from start to finish. This role will report directly to the Head of Enterprise IT and has the potential to expand into Enterprise Analytics, Enterprise Performance Management and other critical programs.

What you will do:

  • Delivery of End-to-End processes and technology solutions that meet business requirements and delivers or exceeds the business case.
  • Provide leadership to complete detailed design and deployment of the solution (including processes, systems, data and integration) ensuring a consistent level of detail across functional and technical areas. Provide expertise, both industry and process, on solution design and open detailed design issues.
  • Provide leadership to actively manage scope, minimize global template deviations and customizations. Ensure that the approach consistently adheres to the guiding principles and to the enterprise standards.
  • Influence solution increments and participate in feature demonstrations to confirm delivery of the solution process and technology scope.
  • Fundamentally improve financial performance of the company, primarily through Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reduction, hiring cost avoidance via automated processes, and increased visibility of product line financials.

Who you are:

  • IT leadership role or equivalent experience rolling out complex ERPs
  • 10+ years experience in complex Oracle ERP implementations
  • 2+ years experience in Oracle Cloud ERP implementations
  • Experience leading a large system integrator engagement from the client side
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to lead large groups in a matrixed organization
  • Strong business and financial acumen 


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related space
  • Oracle ERP certifications (Cloud preferred)
  • Experience with Enterprise Performance Management suites (e.g. Hyperion)
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar enterprise analytics suites
  • Experience building and leading global teams
