Customer Success Senior Analytics Manager - Impulse & Response(B7) 

ABOUT THE ROLE

If you’re a current Analytics/Client Manager looking for a step-up and looking for the opportunity to grow where no two days are the same, this is the ideal role. 

The role is office based (currently remote) but working on-site at retailers may be required. You will be working as part of a team looking after a breadth of retailers from the Top 4 to the smaller Convenience & High Street retailers ensure we delivery to contracted commitments. Being flexible, adaptable, and able to work on several projects at any one time will be key. 

What this role looks like is owning client deliverables in the form of briefing, preparing, and delivering client analysis, ensuring we meet reporting needs, and consulting with clients on priority business issues. Therefore, the ability to strike up a positive working relationship with different stakeholders is essential alongside a desire to exceed our clients' expectations. 

As well as being responsible for preparing and delivering on retailer needs, you’ll be working with the relevant internal NielsenIQ teams to ensure service level agreements are met. You will also work closely with the Commercial Retailer Team, Customer Success Lead, Retailer Response Team and Operations as part of this role.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Success 

  • Ownership and responsibility for a selection of retailer clients deliverables, specifically with regards to the reporting, analytical deliverables and supporting our day to day contact at the client. 

  • Troubleshooting and resolving client queries to achieve satisfactory outcomes related to databases, software, coding, reports, and all other key client deliverables by liaising with the relevant department. 

  • Owning client queries through to completion regardless of which department is responsible for solving the query. 

  • Active involvement and leadership on NielsenIQ initiatives. 

  • Coordinate between NielsenIQ departments and client stakeholders to ensure that developments are identified and implemented to specification and agree timings 

  • Always looking for better and more efficient Ways of Working across the team 

  • Share best practice within Retailer Services 

  • Support other team members where possible in their work and wider learning & development 

  • Contribute to weekly team meetings, updating team worklog, taking ownership of, monitoring progress and resolving escalations 

Analytics 

  • Help shape client research questions by understanding what the business needs are behind questions and what actions will be taken as a result 

  • Confidently talk about our data and advise on where and how we can best add value through our analysis 

  • Identify the appropriate data sources and tools to best answer research questions, ensuring you judge when the solution is ‘good enough’ versus ‘bells and whistles’ depending on a given situation 

  • Analyse and present findings to key stakeholders within given deadlines,

  • Constantly building on our data capabilities by finding different ways of using existing data or tapping into ‘hidden’ data that may not have previously been used for insight 

Client Engagement 

  • Create and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders 

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the retailer’s business issues through requested and pro-active analysis, and identifying any potential areas for revenue growth 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to function independently and in a team environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment 

  • Expert interpersonal skills and oral / written communication skills 

  • Project management: good organisational and time management skills 

  • Good analytical and problem solving capabilities
