Position Description:

Salesforce Finance is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead change and enablement for our enterprise SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) program and a multi-year strategy, which is transforming the way Salesforce manages SOX risk and internal controls across the company. In this position, you will define and execute the strategy that makes complex change easy for our stakeholders while driving behavioral and mindset shifts as they pertain to SOX and compliance. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and owning the strategic and tactical change management deliverables including stakeholder interviews, organizational change and readiness impact assessments, and driving the creation of change collateral to drive community readiness and adoption of the change. Key to this role, is your ability to build relationships, apply critical thinking and take the initiative to drive results. As a successful Change Manager, you will use influence and innovation to maximize adoption and ensure a positive change experience.

We believe systems and processes don't make transformation; how people behave and consume them do. As a change leader for our SOX programs, you will play a critical role in helping employees navigate and embrace transformational change.

Your Impact:

  • Lead several highly cross-functional, complex change management SOX programs and multi-year strategy programs impacting the Salesforce enterprise.
  • Quickly ramp-up and develop strong relationships with the SOX program team and stakeholders to ensure programs and communications remain aligned with business priorities and outcomes.
  • Develop and execute change management strategy (stakeholder analysis, change impact and readiness analysis, training materials, etc.) for complex global programs.
  • Drive key organizational change management activities on transformational programs including analyzing and recommending appropriate operating model and structures for impacted teams.
  • Facilitate change workshops to identity the change requirements and engage the impacted groups.
  • Ensure change is sustainable by creating appropriate success measures including adoption metrics, delivering key business trainings and building change agents in the functions post program delivery.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 + years of dedicated change management experience within Finance or Compliance.
  • Strong Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including attention to detail are imperatives
  • Track record of driving organizational change management programs.
  • Demonstrate the Salesforce values of Trust, Growth, Innovation, and Equality
  • Experience in driving change management on business transformational programs and not just technical change management
  • Experience working in and supporting Finance and/or Compliance functions


Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience leading change management on a large, enterprise program preferably with a SOX focus
  • Demonstrated change management expertise or certifications - i.e. Prosci, etc.
  • Self-starter with strong planning and organization skills to effectively develop change deliverable in timeline manner.
  • Experience in a fast paced software environment, a plus.
  • Past consulting experience is a plus.
  • A strong communicator, who has presence and impact and can simplify messaging/incorporate storytelling
  • Exceptional facilitation skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage at all levels of the organization
  • Handle ambiguity in their stride and can be flexible in their approach
