What you'll learn & achieve:

The Senior Business/Industry Technical Advisor (Senior Advisor) position is responsible for supporting internal functions with subject matter expertise and for delivering consultative content solutions to external customers. This is a highly visible role working with several internal departments such as Product and Support Services to ensure the highest quality eLearning Safety Catalog offering and with Sales and Marketing to support potential and existing clients' training requirements as well as providing thought leadership both internal and external to the division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • In collaboration with the Library Project Manager, ensure that the division's eLearning Safety Catalog offering reflects current Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and imagery.
  • In collaboration with Client Services, support our OSHA authorized provider status by fulfilling reporting requirements, addressing user questions, addressing OHSA inquires, etc.
  • Contribute to marketing development efforts and activities, such as content campaigns, webinars, white papers, blogs, etc.
  • As needed, provide pre-sales and sales support around the Safety Catalog offering by eliciting client requirements using client meetings and discussions and prepare the customized Statement of Work (SOW) and responses to RFPs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external client expectations.



What makes you a great fit:

  • Extensive knowledge of EHS Regulations as related to the Safety Catalog offering
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in a role that required application of the EHS regulations in the daily work environment.
  • Experience in a role of business-to-business consulting that required analytical, quantitative and problem solving responsibilities.
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of the business sector represented; the competitors in the market space; and the regulations, principles and best practices that guide and demand the customer's training needs and business solution.
  • Ability/willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Able to work with a variety of eLearning course projects at different stages in development at the same time.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a dynamic situation - react quickly and think on feet, be creative and understand what the client needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, a master's degree is preferred.
  • Must hold or obtain current Safety Certifications as deemed necessary by the division.
