Our Business Operations team is committed to being a central hub around our systems, people, and processes to ensure we have what is necessary for the organization to function efficiently. Working with a variety of internal teams, as well as directly with clients, we are responsible for making sure all parties have the data and information necessary to support decisions during this stage of high-growth and scale.

What you will do

As Senior Business Operations & Strategy Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional leadership to establish a metric-focused process foundation to help Karat continue scale. You will work on a variety of critical initiatives, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and build and define core processes that further company strategy and global impact.

Karat’s HQ is based in Seattle, Washington, but we are open to remote U.S.-based candidates for this role. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to build out the framework and operationalize business operations, including executive dashboards and recurring business reviews.
• Create operational dashboards to monitor business line performance and analyze business drivers to identify, diagnose and help resolve business related issues.
• Provide operational visibility to the leadership team and business leads to establish cross-functional analytics to help manage the business.
• Lead analytical aspect of meetings with our core business leaders to measure the health of the business, identify investment areas to drive “data-driven” decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities.
• Serve as the connective tissue of a cross-functional team (including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Business Development), working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal.

The experience you will bring

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, business operations or product management positions
• 4+ years of experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm and/or high-scale technology company preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, statistics, engineering, CS or affinities
• Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic thought partner
• Strong written and verbal communicator, with professional working proficiency in English and deep familiarity with the business, economic and cultural environments across the Americas region
• Working familiarity with data analysis, SQL, and Salesforce
• Experience building complex models and conducting sophisticated analyses and dashboards
• Practical business understanding with genuine passion for technology, big data, and/or entrepreneurship
