About the team
FIS® Enterprise Risk Suite (formerly Adaptiv) solutions help banks and financial institutions quickly and accurately calculate their enterprise market and credit risk using the most advanced software in the market.
NOTE: This role may be worked remotely from anywhere in North America; must work EST business hours.
What you will be doing
Design and configure FIS Enterprise Risk Suite solutions for Credit and Risk management to meet client business requirements and future business growth objectives. Analyze client business requirements and write up technical specifications for implementation projects. Advise client on optimal solution configuration to meet their requirements and industry best practices. Then validation test the solution to confirm it meets those requirements.
General Duties & Responsibilities
• Advising leading financial institutions on FIS Enterprise Risk (formerly FIS Adaptiv) implementation projects with a focus on the areas of Market and Credit Risk management.• You will be involved in the full life-cycle of FIS Enterprise Risk implementations from pre-sales through to scoping and technical specification through to implementation and testing phases and finally to Go-Live support.• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for the requirements to be implemented into functional features in FIS Enterprise Risk.• You ensure that features describe what the system, process or product/service must do to fulfill the end-user/business requirements.• Configuring the calculation parameters for the calculations across the Market and Credit Risk space based on client requirements: PFE, CVA, XVA, SIMM, SA-CCR, VaR, Sensitivities, P&L, Stress Testing, Stressed VaR and FRTB.• Validate that the calculations are generating the expected results given the way they were configured, taking an end-to-end view of the system.• Supporting the client testing the calculations, responding to questions, and triaging issues and change requests.• Support the client in implementation phases by guiding them through how to prepare their market, trade, and static data for FIS Enterprise Risk to consume and supporting the client through the various testing phases.• Configuring customizable items and testing items that have been delivered as client-specific customizations.• You demonstrate high levels of initiative, independence and integrity and are an excellent communicator, including being comfortable communicating with senior people in FIS and the client.• Ability to create presentations and materials that assist in communicating with and educating both internal and external resources.• Collaborating closely with product management, development, sales, and senior management, you will help to drive change and innovation in FIS Enterprise Risk• Maintains quality client relationships with both internal and external clients to gain referrals for new clients and achieve excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty.• Mentors and develops resources to grow knowledge among the Professional Services organization for FIS Enterprise Risk.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. FRM a strong plus.
General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• In-depth knowledge of financial services industry, in particular Credit and Market Risk management.
• Full or partial FRM preferred.• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills• Ability to utilize judgment in decision-making processes and decisions related to job tasks• Excellent organization, team-building, coaching and mentoring, project management and time management skills• Requires excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner• Proven success in building relationships• Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take• Willing to travel 15% to 25% or as needed.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
• Must have led or participated in the definition and implementation of service offerings for multiple projects
• Market and/or Credit risk domain expertise from financial institutions or other vendors
• Full or partial FRM preferred
