Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud analyst looking to apply their knowledge in a security-focused realm. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for Azure security. Additionally, they will look to expand this knowledge and apply concepts across multiple cloud platforms.

The cloud security analyst will participate in the design, development, and implementation of cloud security monitoring use cases and strategies. This role requires you to be able to work independently, as well as part of a small team. You will develop and improve cloud security monitoring strategies. The cloud security analyst will also provide SOC monitoring, investigate security alerts, provide expertise for customer cloud environments, and train junior SOC analysts.

Experience 

• Understanding of core Azure architectural components (Physical and Logical)

• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Container Instances (ACI), and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• Understanding of Container (Blob) Storage, Disk Storage, File Storage, and storage tiers

• Knowledge of core solutions in Azure (Azure Sphere, Azure Synapse Analytics, HDInsight, and Azure Databricks)

• Familiarity with Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, CLI, and Cloud Shell

• Experience using Azure Security Center and Azure Active Directory

• Knowledge of Azure network security 

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years of IT Security experience
