About the team
The Asset Transition Team at Reliance Trust Company is one of the more high-profile and client visible departments in our Wealth Outsourcing Operation. We serve many large Trust Companies throughout the US and a critical part of their growth and client acquisition is tied to bringing in new business. The Asset Transition Team at Reliance Trust facilitates this process for them. We are focused on a crisp straight through process that exceeds general industry standards.
What you will be doing
As a Sr. Manager you will be responsible for the day to day production responsibilities to Asset Transition or Asset Transfer teams. They are in Milwaukee, WI, Quincy, MA., and Atlanta, GA. Reviewing the workflow tools and assuring that all requests are being addressed timely and according to our standards. You would also be responsible for reviewing new business opportunities to assure that our products offered algin with client need and enterprise direction. Staffing Resource Management, Human Resource Activity Management, Employee Development and Strategic Direction for the asset transfer product are also your responsibilities.
What you bring:

  • Demonstrated industry experience with the asset transfer process.
  • In depth knowledge of ACAT product offered by the DTCC
  • In depth knowledge of the cost basis process as well as it's interaction with trust accounting platforms
  • In depth knowledge about Asset Transfer process with Mutual Fund industry providers and transfer agents.
  • Track record of strategic initiative implementation.
  • Success with employee development.


Added bonus if you have:

  • Technical acumen for data management and automation development
  • Industry participation in transfer related groups. IE. SIFMA, ICI, etc.
  • Additional financial services knowledge and experience that would supplement the asset transfer process.
