As a Facilities Maintenance & Operations Manager at Onsemi, you'll be directly responsible for m anaging all aspects of the Facilities Operations and Maintenance team. Supervise and lead system operators, mechanics, technicians, and contractors in support of a semiconductor wafer fab operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year operating environment. Candidate should be a strong leader and possess a thorough understanding of industrial mechanical systems; including HVAC, high purity water, chemical delivery, gas distribution, industrial exhaust, effluent treatment, and controls.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Schedule facilities shift resources supporting factory 24/7 operations.
• Manage the maintenance department technician's daily activities to ensure that day to day maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company standards.
• Manage facilities preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs .
• Lead team involvement as it pertains to system performance. Involve facilities system engineers, technicians, maintenance technicians and operators in day-to-day operations and performance.
• Contract support vendors for main plant systems (Boilers / Chillers / Air Compressors).
• Administer site internal customer work request system (CMMS).
• Provide performance appraisals of direct reports inclusive of annual reviews.
• Leads routine, periodic, and event driven inspections to determine need for corrective actions to prevent breakdowns, unsafe conditions.
• Establish/maintain operations and maintenance budget.

Qualifications:
Requirements:

• BS degree in engineering or related field of study.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, life sciences, industrial or similar facilities operations related experience.
• Solid leadership qualities with ability to positively influence overall team performance and earn followership.
• Motivated, self-directed, and flexible, possessing good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with risk assessment & continuous improvement tools.
• Good communication skills along with customer relations.
