The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Schedule Coordinator to support our Operations and Human Resources teams at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Our ideal Schedule Coordinator is skilled at managing administrative tasks, employee training and has strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate schedules and assist with Check-In and Check-Out for concession associates for all events at Bridgestone Arena, in conjunction with Company policies, procedures, and GuestPath Standards.
• Send all Concession employees event dates, report times, and parking information on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate and organize associate availability and update an event-based staffing spreadsheet accordingly.
• Monitor employee attendance activity such as call-offs, No Shows, and tardiness.
• Inputs concessions schedules into SHIFT
• Report Attendance related issues to Management.
• Assist with on-site recruiting activities as needed, such as job fairs and interview sessions for potential candidates.
• Onboarding and training of new employees
• General office duties such as filing and answering phones.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally. Excellent organizational skills needed to work independently and under minimal supervision. Knowledge of general business and/or food service operations, normally acquired through completion of a four-year college degree and/or at least two years of work history. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work. Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with Customer Service
• Good organizational skills
• Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment.
• Resourcefulness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to consistently stand, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Ability to lift 35lbs.
