Job Description Working in Application Support means you'll be responsible for daily administration, monitioring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP-related environments as it pertains to this position. Performing installation, upgrades, support & guidance to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: SAP Application Support & Administration. While leveraging your skills to fix & maintain application issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to develop professionally and to grow your career.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of SAP BW/4HANA experience specifically focused in NetWeaver, Web Application Server (WebAS) experience on Unix (AIX 7.X preferred) and ORACLE (11g or higher preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Unix / Large Database Management. Working knowledge of Bash / Bourne shell scripting is value-add for automation
  • Experience with technical setup & configuration of SAP ECC, SAP BW NetWeaver, Upgrades and Application of Support packs.
  • Experience in supporting Implementation Projects, Development, Testing and Production Operations.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work to tight timelines and be prepared to work occasional overtime.
  • Candidate must have and exhibit the ability to lead critical software/infrastructure projects
  • Excellent customer facing skills
  • Applicant must have strong English written and oral communication skills to effectively execute responsibilities as part of a highly skilled dynamic SAP Technical Team
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills
  • Applicant will exhibit strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills to operate either within a team or independently
