Position Summary
Parker is looking for an Application Testing Manager to drive the strategy, approach, and delivery of the Parker IT testing activities. The ideal candidate should have deep experiences in system implementation lifecycle, test cycle definition, test management tools, and test automation. The candidate will be responsible for Parker's IT Testing strategy with a focus on the testing of Parker's SAP S/4 system. This individual should be highly motivated with excellent strategic thinking, analysis, and communication skills who thrives working in a fast paced, high visible environment.
Scope, Supervision, and Interaction:
This role does not have direct reports. Leads Technical Analysts and Senior Technical Analysts. Supports working relationships with suppliers, customers and operating units

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the SAP application testing in the areas of S/4 such as production planning, sales and distribution, material management, record to report, and quality management.
  • Clearly communicate a testing team's role in the SDLC lifecycle
  • Develop a test strategy and demonstrating importance of Requirements traceability
  • Create a testing approach with metrics creation and identification of KPIs for testing such as test velocity, defect velocity, and march charts
  • Train users and build training content on a new testing tool that project resources may never have used before
  • Define and communicate test standards and Train new QA staff members in those testing methods and standards
  • Demonstrate familiarity with S4 implementations (design & build through deploy), the processes and different teams that work together to resolve issues
  • Analyze and translate business information and technical requirements into testing conditions and scripts to test complex business scenarios.
  • Collaborate with the project manager, business stakeholder, and consultants to test the requirements of the proposed solutions
  • Oversee testing operations and delegate testing tasks to the project team
  • Automate the testing process to ensure quality, reduce effort, and provide a solution that meets the business requirements
  • Log and report any issues back to the development team for defect resolution

    Qualifications
    Required Qualifications
  • 4-year University/College Degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Past work managing a test team with the scope of multiple workstreams
  • 3+ Years of SAP Experience in SAP S/4
  • Experience with delegating tasks, interfacing with a number of different workstream leads and leading large teams through the testing process
  • Extremely comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while managing expectations with the project team and client.
  • Understanding of the importance of follow up and documentation of results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, as this is a client facing role.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio as this role requires developing supplemental product and solution documentation.
  • Must be US citizen given the government data requirements.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 Years of experience in Manufacturing Industry
  • 5+ years of experience with at least one of the major test management tools (ALM, JIRA w/ test add on, Azure DevOps, Tricentis, SAP's FocusBuild/SolMan)
  • 3+ years of experience with at least one of the major test automation tools (Worksoft, UFT, Tosca, Selenium)in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio as this role requires developing supplemental product and solution documentation.
  • Specialized knowledge in SAP S4 HANA are huge plus.
  • Exhibit a broad understanding of test management tools capabilities to meet the testing of business requirements to implement holistic solutions with reduced application risk.
