Every morning, 10,000 Americans wake up and begin their first day of retirement. Chapter is re-inventing the way that Americans transition into retirement, starting with Medicare.


For most people, Medicare is boring, bureaucratic, and confusing. But it's important. If people wait too long to choose coverage, they risk life-time penalties from Uncle Sam, may need to undergo medical underwriting, or may pay out-of-pocket for 20%+ of medical costs plus prescriptions and most costs of dental, vision, and hearing.

Our team and technology help retirees to navigate Medicare, including when and how to sign up, what specific coverage to choose, and how to maximize the benefits from their coverage.


Chapter has built industry-leading technology to help retirees save thousands of dollars on their healthcare. Our promise is simple: we want people to improve their health coverage while reducing what they pay for it.


How? Our platform searches every Medicare option available nationwide, while others search only a subset of plans, which is the norm in the Medicare market.


This full search is why we find savings and benefits that others miss.

The Role: Senior Medicare Advisors


Chapter is hiring Licensed Medicare Advisors. In this role, you will guide Americans as they sign up for Medicare and pick a specific coverage. Chapter is the only truly independent Medicare Advisory. We search all plan options, finding coverage for what matters most to the client for this year and every year moving forward. This is a full-time role. We are currently offering a $1,500 signing bonus to all new Medicare Advisors who start before July 15, 2022. 


In this role, you will spend several hours each day advising seniors over the phone and by email. We're building cutting-edge software to help our advisors work better.


You should apply for this position if you are excited to set and achieve ambitious goals. We measure advisor performance based on three things:

1) Customer satisfaction

2) Customer retention

3) Number of customers enrolled


While your compensation will be tied to your performance, it does not vary based on the specific coverage you recommend, even if it is with a carrier that does not pay Chapter.


Before joining you will need to study for and pass licensing tests. Chapter provides all the study material and support that you need for licensing at no cost to you.

Responsibilities

  • Assess seniors’ Medicare needs with an engaging, natural, and professional demeanor.
  • Provide prompt and efficient service by phone and email.
  • Use Chapter’s software to identify plan options for seniors.
  • Demonstrate strong prioritization skills to determine what is important.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Medicare Sales Experience( Preferred)
  • 1 annual enrollment period (Required) 
  • Ability to understand the needs of others and empathize with them.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills
  • Track record of teamwork and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Fun to work with: we want our teammates to be friends, not just co-workers.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role with high service expectations
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a legally recognized exemption.
