Your team:Risk & Portfolio Operations team is a diverse group of experts in the Real Estate field focused on mitigating Risk for Ribbon and our Customers when participating in a Real Estate transaction. We look for people who are passionate about helping others, technically minded, consultative and care deeply about the details. Our team supports homebuyers through one of the most stressful transactions of their lives, collaborating with their team of partners as Ribbon program and Real Estate industry experts.
How you'll help make homeownership achievable:The Risk Operations Associate plays a significant role in building the functions to unlock growth and help the Risk and Portfolio Ops team scale. Working directly with the Director of Risk and Portfolio Ops, this role will work cross-functionally to lead large, critical initiatives and solve complicated, unstructured problems.
This role is a terrific introduction to Ribbon, and allows impactful individuals to learn about the business while contributing to a variety of high-impact, critical initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional projects to scale functions and capabilities
- Proactively identify inhibitors to growth
- Define and measure critical important metrics
- Drive efficiency and transparency in processes
- Ensure roles and personnel are aligned to objectives
- 2-4 years of investment banking, management consulting, private equity, startup, fintech, business operations or investor relations company experience
- Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills. Ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a structured manner within a fast-paced, hyper growth environment
- Ability to work with cross functional groups throughout all levels within the organization and participate in the problem solving process.
- Desire to continuously improve and a positive, "can-do" approach.
- Expert proficiency in Excel and G-suite
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems using data and process improvement
- SQL & Dashboard experience
- Startup experience
- Fintech experience
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Economics or Finance preferred
