What's the role?
As a Risk Management Specialist, you will perform functions for the IT MAR (Model Audit Rule) program, providing advice, perspective, and consultation. Engages department leadership in the operations of the MAR program to support the IT general controls and alignment to the NM strategy.
Assists in coordinating accountabilities within IT, Corporate Audit and Finance for MAR ITGC sustainability. Engages staff, leadership, and business partners in organizational change to mature and sustain compliance with IT related internal controls and IT risk for the enterprise.
- Assist with review of Risk Control Matrices (RCM) for MAR relevant applications.
- Participate in the annual infrastructure component review for MAR relevant applications. Gather system components to be provided to PwC as part of the annual MAR audit.
- Assist with Segregation of Duties (SoD) documents and the annual review of existing SoD documents for MAR relevant applications. Annually assure management has approved exceptions where Segregation of Duties does not exist.
- Facilitate the evaluation of applications for MAR relevance.
- Maintain internal and external MAR documentation to sustain the program.

- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in MIS, Business or related field; or related work experience beyond the minimum required
- Three or more years of experience in information systems or systems audit with a demonstrated knowledge in technologies and processes
- Ability to assess and implement IT general controls desired
- Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to changing business needs by effectively managing and prioritizing concurrent assignments
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify and resolve critical issues through effective problem solving skills
- Strong ability to develop and leverage relationships; ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal and external partners
- Excellent communication skills focused on facilitation of meetings; ability to deliver informative, well-organized documentation and ability to effectively communicate in difficult and/or sensitive situations
- Proven organizational savvy with demonstrated tact and diplomacy
- Proven ability in dealing with ambiguity
- Experience working on Sarbanes-Oxley, MAR, or SOC report reviews is a plus.
