Risk Management Manager
Job Description
The Operational Risk Management (ORM) team develops, implements, and oversees programs that play a key role in identifying measuring, mitigating, and monitoring operational risk across Columbia Threadneedle Investments North America (CTI NA).
Play a key role in the development and execution of the ORM framework and programs. Lead the business in identifiying and evaluating key risks and controls. Provide credible challenge and day-to-day oversight for assigned programs. Serve as point of contact for risk liaison to ensure appropriate information exchange and to drive forward risk reducing recommendations and actions.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in an operational or enterprise risk management function• Knowledge of asset management and investment products• Strong internal and external relationship management skills• Excellent analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Assist with the development, execution and oversight of key operational risk programs. Analyze program outcomes, provide credible challenge to the business, identify interrelationships and trends, and report program results.
Build partnerships that facilitate managing operational risk, sharing of operatioanl risk information and maturity the operational risk program.
Develop, prepare and deliver content to a variety of audiences.
Provide training on ORM requirements, tools and systems.
Attend and participate in ORM related meetings.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelors degree or equivalent• 5+ years of experience• Progressive finance, audit, accounting or risk management experience, preferably in a corporate environment• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills• Strong ability to lead, partner and influence across all leadership levels• Demonstrated people leadership experience, either through direct leadership or through coaching or mentoring roles• Ability to drive results and meet deadlines to reduce risks• Strong execution leadership: ability to develop solutions for current or future risk requirements and program needs; drive from concept phase to the successful end-state (e.g., deliverable phase)• Ability to provide professional discourse, where applicable, and sound reasoning to credibly challenge 1st line business and ORM peers• Strong written and verbal communication skills
