Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere within the United States and Canada.

About the Opportunity:

Resource Management is the "glue" function in our Services Organization. Working between the Partner and Ceridian organization, the Resource Manager facilitates the onboarding, troubleshooting, payment and offboarding of Partner Consultants. The RM develops and possesses a deep knowledge of the skills and capabilities of the Partners within their portfolio, and works with several parts of the Partner and Ceridian organization to develop a forward view of skill demand within the opportunity pipeline. The most important function of this role is ensuring we build a strong relationship with our partners, and that we manage the lifecycle of the Consultants coming to Ceridian through this channel. The Resource Manager of Partner Operations is the point person for our partner consultants.

What you'll get to do:

  • Build relationships with the partner business leaders and across the Resource Management team to understand project needs.
  • Ability to influence others
  • Provide analysis and maintain metrics for the business, such as Staff Aug costs, consultant availability, utilization, and other reporting to identify issues and trends.
  • Works directly with the Partner Ops lead to maintain existing processes and collaborate on new operational processes for the Partner Program.
  • Responsible for onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining partner records.
  • Maintain and update existing standard operating procedure (SOP) documents that provide clear-cut directions and instructions to complete specific processes.
  • Accountable for tracking, creating, processing, and validating purchase orders, invoices, and contracts, which are generated out of NetSuite.
  • Communicate with partners when compliance training and certifications are past-due.
  • Manage multiple department-specific projects in parallel.
  • Meet with leadership frequently to ensure staffing needs, utilization potential and shortages and surpluses are proactively identified across the consulting organization.


Skills and Experience we value:

  • BS or BA college degree or work experience equivalent.
  • Previous experience in roles that required high degree of organization and productivity.
  • Strong metrics focus with the ability to use analytics to solve problems and develop solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


What would make you stand out:

  • Experience in personnel demand planning, forecasting, and reporting a plus.
  • 2 years or more experience in resource management, process and/or operations management a plus.
  • Previous experience working within a consulting services industry.
  • Excellent understanding of consulting services staffing processes.
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate with senior leadership within the organization.
  • Strong proficiency using Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with software such as Coupa, NetSuite, Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to think and communicate clearly under pressure.
  • Strong logic and reasoning skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including strong content creation skills. #LI-REMOTE
