The opportunity

Reporting to the VP, Head of Service Ops and Enablement, we are looking for a relationship-building, solution-driven Resource Manager. You will work in close partnership with Project Managers, internal resources, and hundreds of external contractors to find the exact pairing of skills to requirements

What you will do:

• Source resources for new and current projects. You will collaborate with the Consulting and Global Solutions groups to gain an understanding of ongoing, upcoming, and pipelining project resource needs. You will resource individuals for projects based on capability and skills, ensure biographies are up to date, and schedule interviews with Project Managers as needed. You will act as a liaison between the project and internal and external resources, communicating decisions, preparing them for onboarding, and facilitating an internal kickoff call for resources as needed. You will complete all resource-related documentation, including work orders, subcontract agreements, etc.
• Executive reporting. You will verify the information entered in our multiples systems is up to date and prepare reporting and KPIs for leadership team meetings to identify needs and gaps. You will ensure:
  
  • The resource time management tool is up to date for all resources.
  • The completion and accuracy of the Pricing Matrix and SOWs for allocated resources.
  • The time tracking tool functionality to ensure accuracy.
• Contribute to projects directly. In addition to ad hoc requests, you will be part of the team implementing a new resource management and billing platform.

You will have:

• The education and experience. You have a diploma or degree in business, human resources, project management or a related discipline. You have a few years in project coordination and planning, or recruitment. You may even come from a different field altogether with the growth mindset, attention to detail, and ownership to make you successful in this role. Ideally, you have exposure to the commercial real estate industry and perhaps technology solutions or professional services.
• The consulting skills. You can anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal clients, and you are driven to meet their expectations. You are a collaborator who excels in an autonomous role. You can plan and deliver resourcing for multiple complex projects with competing priorities, on time, within budget, and fit for scope and purpose.
• The technical skills. You are data-driven and can analyze reports, prepare presentations on KPIs, needs, and gaps for executives. You can learn new systems quickly.
• The interpersonal skills. You can build and foster relationships with internal and external project resources, across the Global teams, and with executives. You are an effective communicator who can clarify ambiguities and present information and performance reporting in a structured and straightforward manner. You can relay delays and setbacks while managing expectations and retaining confidence.
