Customer Service Specialist Opportunity in Financial Services

Rep Relations Specialist

Location(s): 12325 Port Grace Blvd, La Vista, NE 68128

Role Type: Full-time

Summary:

As a member of our customer-facing organization, you will engage directly with our customers - over 10,000 Financial Professionals across the country, helping grow and support their firms. As part of the Client Experience Organization, you will work closely with other team members in all aspects of operational and transition activities through both phone and processing. Collaboration and an entrepreneurial approach will drive success as you learn and navigate all aspects of Financial Professional support. Your contributions will ensure that our Financial Professionals get best-in-class service in every interaction with Advisor Group.

Our Rep Relations Specialists are hired into a cohort that goes through robust training prior to moving onto the "floor" taking calls and processing transactions for our network of Financial Professionals. Support is related to a variety of service-related issues with exceptional experience as the goal. These are not sales roles, rather they are truly support and education experts. Our teams work Monday through Friday schedules, and these positions are eligible for overtime.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide best-in-class education, service, and support for our network of Financial Professionals by answering questions and researching issues
  • Learn and support various financial products
  • Accurately define nature of call/email and determine customer's needs
  • Support internal teams on financial transaction, account maintenance, new accounts, transfers, and other activities
  • Use of various software / financial platforms
  • Act as primary contact and advocate for registered representatives and their staff on operational and procedural issues as assigned.
  • Actively support the departmental goals by staying attentive to the phone system queues.
  • Create a strong working relationship with customers and internal teams
  • Demonstrates the ability to reach decisions promptly and implement appropriate action, deferring to manager only when appropriate.
  • Educate customers where to find online information
  • Ability to recognize the red flags of fraudulent activities and how to report suspicious activities to the proper parties.
  • All other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Basic Requirements:
  • 2+ years of customer service or contact center experience
  • Proficiency at Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • STRONG customer focus orientation
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work independently and maintain high levels of quality
  • Ability to work and remain focused under pressure
  • Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment

Preferred Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience in financial services operations or broker-dealer setting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferred CRM experience / Salesforce experience
  • Completion of FINRA SIE exam
  • FINRA Series 7 license
