Job Summary:

  • This candidate will be responsible for daily production Workflow in the PCR Application.
  • Be a Data Stewardship/Data Quality SME and have strong Project representation skills.
  • Responsible to maintain and ensure compliance with Dept. procedures & overall Bank Policies
  • Proactively recognize and manage risk as well as escalate any issues to the correct party.
  • Provide a general guidance for reviewing and performing matches, hierarchy changes, and approving any required adjustments within the Party Cross Reference Application.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily Production Workflow (which includes daily Quality Assurance tasks)
  • Action on and manage received party data in a fast-paced environment
  • Analyze data within PCR in order to perform proper matching of party data
  • Ability to identify issues, problem solve, and escalate as necessary in simple and straightforward manner to internal clients
  • Complete daily and monthly reporting as well as meet monthly SLA's
  • Manage the consolidation of customers to ensure bank exposures are denoted accurately
  • Understand importance of aggregation of customers and group exposures to effectively support reporting and risk management process stakeholders.


Project participation

  • Contribute ideas to improve and streamline the on-boarding, maintenance and customer aggregation process.
  • Work with business users & technology through project requirements, design and analysis phase to ensure coverage and quality for Customer data
  • Participate in system testing as required, developing and maintaining test scripts and coordinating testing activities
  • Work within the application as well as working backlog items outside of the system


Reporting/Reconciliation

  • Create and maintain ad-hoc reports on customer data for various departments in the bank
  • Investigate and resolve inaccuracies between applications relating to customer party data
  • Documents procedures as well as offer and implement suggestions to enhance accuracy and efficiency of the processes
  • Conduct system training to business usersas needed
  • Participation in all department's daily tasks as dictated by workload and staffing levels
  • Administrative assistance as needed


Qualifications

  • At least 2 years client data and risk reporting experience in a financial institution with products (i.e. derivatives, securitization, syndication) and operations (Front or Middle Office) knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of Data governance
  • Solid understanding of business activities, compliance / risk issues
  • Rigorous and motivated by regulatory aspects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong time management, prioritization, work organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Effective Internet and research skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Access, Power Point and Excel and end user tools such as Business Objects
  • Inquisitive, tenacious and investigative
  • Second language is a plus (Spanish/Portuguese/Japanese)
