What You'll Be Doing in the role of Development Operations Manager

The Development Operations Manager will manage functional aspects of donor prospecting, weekly and quarterly fundraising results and reporting including regular fundraising data entry quality control, training fundraising staff on daily utilization of Salesforce, coordination with teams responsible for supporting systems such as accounting, report preparation and validation, managing metrics/leading indicators of progress, and supporting the team to ensure operational compliance.

What You Will Bring to the Table

Manage fundraising reporting on a daily basis, maintaining accurate data, updating corporate contact data and donor detail information, and monitor projections and audits for accuracy and compliance.

Generate weekly and quarterly fundraising status reports including fundraising dashboards, sponsorship/initiative tracking, leading indicator metrics, over/under report, etc.

Work closely with development staff to train on Salesforce portfolio, opportunities/pipeline, dashboards, reports, actions, etc.

Work in collaboration with Corporate Partnership, Major Gift/Planned Giving, Race/Walk, Community Development to create standard Salesforce processes and develop training content for deployment.

Work closely with Community Development, Komen Service Center and various Accounting teams as necessary to ensure processed accounts reflect audit paper work and checks and cash processes are completed correctly including staff training.

Lead the Community Development staff to investigate campaign results that have not arrived through the systems' processes - both automated and manual.

Work closely with Community Development team to validate results and check for accuracy of high value third party process results.

Work closely with Regional Vice Presidents to identify prospects within the database, expand existing partnerships and bring awareness to potential opportunities.

Work closely with Komen Service Center to monitor progress for matching gifts results leading to improved donor stewardship.

Maintains a productive and collaborative relationships with all Komen staff; participates on regional and enterprise projects and committees as appropriate.

Supervises work of others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity. May offer recommendations for hiring, pay changes and termination, but does not have responsibility for making these decisions. This position will manage the Development Operations Specialist positions.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

We Already Know You Will Also Have

Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Ability to plan strategically, set priorities, multi-task, plan work, design approaches, and close commitments.

Ability to manage a team to set and reach specific goals.

Ability to analyze numbers for discovery and planning purposes & maintain CRM records; Salesforce experience required.

Strong teambuilding and partnership skills.

Strong communication, presentation & interpersonal skills.

Excellent planning, organizational and follow-up skills.

Demonstrated professional and mature interaction with other staff and leadership volunteers, sponsors, donors and others to engage them toward the achievement of revenue goals.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one time.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively speak and present to individuals including high net worth donors, executive corporate management as well as small, mid-size and large groups.

Familiar with the community and local non-profits.

Must be willing and able to travel as needed.

Work Experience: 2 - 5 years

Bachelor's Degree: (Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Entrepreneurship; other equivalencies considered).

Travel requirements, less than 25%
