Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience in tech, sales strategy, PR/marketing, or crisis response
  • Experience in people management and recruiting



Preferred qualifications:

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation-based communication skills
  • Investigative mindset, strategic thinking, high attention to detail, and cross-functional coordination skills to resolve each individual escalation and also find opportunities to inspire bigger change to the platform through these insights
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent influencing and multidirectional relationship management skills with the ability to rally colleagues and teams around shared goals
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube ecosystem (viewers, partners, advertisers) and products

The Product & Partner Go-To-Market (PPG) team launches and lands new products, policies, and content strategies that make YouTube the world's top destination for video. Our team of expert Product Specialists provides a unified voice for Product across several other key teams - including Surfaces & Apps, Content Creation & Engagement, Monetization, and Rights & Content Management - as well as the Partnership Enablement team, which brings product, policy, and content strategies to market via all the partner-facing teams across Google's business.

Go-To-Market and Support Solutions (GSS) is a global team working to ensure our users get the most out of YouTube. We provide dedicated and scaled support, strategic Go-To-Market plan development, partnership resources, product and policy insights based on user feedback, and scaled partnership management to ensure that all users can thrive within the YouTube ecosystem. We ensure products get to market, support users when they need help and capture user feedback to drive product excellence and market fit.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team across an array of sensitive escalations, helping to ensure the team sets clear priorities, manages time and capacity effectively, continually optimizes workflows and processes to broaden impact and scale, and develops clear and compelling communication for executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Shape the strategy for the Americas team, act as a domain expert in escalations and enabling solutions for root cause issue drivers, and drive execution on top fixes with related cross-functional teams.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with cross-functional groups including Trust & Safety, product, security, and PR.
  • Identify joint opportunities for reducing and/or mitigating risk to YouTube's platform, brand, and employees.
  • Engage regularly with executives across the company, catering level of detail and actionability appropriately in communications.
