We have a great opportunity for a Regional CORE Manager responsible for leading and executing CORE strategies in the Aftermarket Operations (AMO) North America organization based in East Hartford, CT Campus.

The AMO North America organization is a significant piece of the overall PW AMO business unit supporting the PW Commercial Engines division; and represents a collection of 8 repair and overhaul businesses which specialize in various types of aircraft engine part maintenance and service serving both Pratt & Whitney, and a variety of global customers.

You will report directly under the AMO CORE & Technology Director, Global Operations Transformation organization and work closely with the respective business General Managers at all regional locations comprised of EHRO (East Hartford, CT), PSD (Springdale, AR), PWAA (Lansing, MI), DARO (Dallas, TX), NBRO (North Berwick, ME), WPB (West Palm Beach, FL) and CEC ( Columbus, Georgia) to define and implement CORE strategies.

This is a key leadership role directly influencing the long-term growth and financial health of the business, efficiency of our operations, and critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise and leadership in driving AMO CORE initiatives, by executing the plan linked to business strategies and best in class performances
  • Formulate, evaluate, and implement CORE Strategic plan, including short and long-term objectives for AMO
  • Partner with AMO Technology to define and implement Technology, CORE and Transformation strategies across AMO organization and align to the overall Global Strategies
  • Lead AMO CORE projects and events to achieve business objectives and CORE progression
  • Coordinate alignment between multiple groups and organizations globally to deploy the CORE initiatives for AMO, including but not limited to, PW AMO Sales, PACE, Customer Service, Engine Services, ASE, Operations GSC organization, and external vendors.
  • Leverage industry best practices, benchmark innovation leaders, identify critical matrix data management tools/processes, and curate frontier technologies including automation solutions to drive profitable growth across AMO.
  • Champion change communications and partner with the AMO General Managers and leadership teams POCs to package and flow-down critical elements of organizational vision, mission, and business performance to support a transformational culture and positive work environment.
  • Supports a safety-first work culture that exceeds safety performance goals and strives towards zero injuries.
  • Empower employees to utilize robust digital tools and deploy optimized and innovative processes via robust change management activities to develop new organizational capabilities and support cultivation of a highly competent and motivated workforce.
  • Encourage technological innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, cost reduction and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures including individual employee awareness of responsibility and accountability.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the business's digital maturation in relation to the representative marketplace, including macro factors and trends which influence overall business operations and execution.
  • Demonstrate ethical leadership and compliance.
  • Support diversity initiatives and all employee survey efforts and encouraging participation in the action planning teams.
  • Support efforts related to recruiting, employee development and training.
  • You should have the ability to work with all levels of management, personnel and customers, and have key skills in project management, and general business and operational analytics.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing/operations, business, or technically related field or business
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement, finance, or business development
  • US Person due to government contracts


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree / MBA with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in the same areas.
  • Demonstrated success in operations management, program management, engineering, communications, customer support functions, and supply chain management, preferably in the Aviation industry.
  • You have strong leadership skills, critical thinking skills, business discernment, and ability to innovate.
  • Aviation and Aftermarket experience would be a big plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications is preferred
  • Technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney's Engines Repair, PW Repair Centers, and PW Engine Services business is helpful.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and demonstrated industry insight
  • CORE / ACE Accreditation and or LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt
