Job Purpose

A successful Regional Coordinator (RC) will be eager to drive Mutual Fund, SMA and 529 sales for a top producing Regional Team. This position will be Atlanta-based, with occasional travel. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to honing their sales skills and developing their career.

Required attributes for success include: phone, virtual, and in-person sales skills. Successful candidates will have experience using data analytics to maximize prospecting efforts, and a track record of success in building relationships with Financial Advisors and achieving sales success. Last, RC's should have strong product knowledge and interest in Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively on an embedded regional team to maximize territory sales
  • On a day-to-day basis, partner with multiple Senior Regional Directors & Regional Directors in the field to generate leads with top priority advisors at the front end of the sales process, as well and working and closing leads on data-driven desk sales campaigns
  • The majority of prospecting work will be accomplished via outbound call efforts, and e-mail engagement
  • Utilize data analysis to "segment" top priority advisors and opportunities for the territory's focus list
  • Manage top client relationships in partnership with your partners in the field
  • Service incoming inquiries from Financial Advisors on our 1-800 sales queue
  • Host sales meetings and travel as needed to host conferences, roadshows, and client-related events
  • Analyze and write-up compelling sales pitches based on Zephyr Reporting & similar analytic reporting based on Voya products vs competing funds our prospects own
  • Take ownership of data integrity in our CRM - including building advisor teams, updating contact info when advisors switch firms, and leaving detailed notes as a record of our call and e-mail efforts, as well as sales conversations
  • Offer ideas to maximize the regional team's time management, sales effectiveness, and ultimately drive a positive impact to territory gross & net sales (including asset retention)


Qualifications
  • Must have at least a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2 - 4 years of customer service/sales experience within the Financial Services industry
  • Current Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses strongly preferred. If not currently held, must pass within 60 days of hire
  • Candidate should have strong working knowledge of popular sales software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Candidate should be professional, adaptable, collaborative, creative, self-motivated, organized and responsible
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and a strict attention to detail required
  • Candidate should demonstrate an upbeat, positive attitude and have an ability to excel in a team environment
  • A determination to "make an impact," work hard, & take ownership of their career will help strong candidates stand out
