Get to Know the Opportunity:

A successful Regional Coordinator will possess very strong product and presentation skills as well as the ability to demonstrate consultative sales skills, such as prospecting, probing and ultimately driving sales through their position on the sales desk.

The Contributions You'll Make:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Regional Director (External Sales Representative) to maximize territory sales efforts and attain sales goals
  • Utilize data segmentation to plan and track targeted Advisors sales efforts
  • Manage Financial Advisor relationships via the telephone and "virtual" technology
  • Follow up on all sales leads generated
  • Take incoming calls from Financial Advisors
  • Host webinars, conference calls, roadshows for Financial Advisors and client related events
  • Provide competitive analysis, with the ability to have in-depth conversations with Advisors on interpreting the results and positioning Voya products appropriately
  • Respond to requests for information, competitive analysis and literature
  • Manage the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for their coverage territory which includes capturing all advisor level activities, maximize sales targeting and effectiveness and coordinating regional marketing and communications plans
  • Ensure all CRM information for their territory is up to date and accurate

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • 2 - 5 years of customer service/sales experience within the Financial Services industry
  • Candidate should have strong working knowledge of popular sales software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and a strict attention to detail required

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

  • A 4-year degree from accredited college or university strongly preferred
  • Current Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses strongly preferred. If not currently held, must pass within 90 days of hire
  • Candidate should be professional, adaptable, collaborative, creative, self-motivated, organized and responsible
  • Candidate should demonstrate an upbeat, positive attitude and have an ability to excel in a team environment

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$60,000 to $70,000 USD
