Operations is one of four services-the others are Accenture Song, Technology and Strategy & Consulting.

The Record to Report Operations Associate provides integrated finance and accounting services to a large global technology corporation, across eight global delivery locations. The engagement spans over 120 countries and includes over five hundred individual roles worldwide incorporating thirty-six languages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Perform a high-level review of both B/S and P/L for obvious errors, omissions or inconsistencies
  • SOX review: Prepare Journal Entry and Account Reconciliations using workflow tools. Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all financial accounting data.
  • Month End/Quarter End Close: execution of the monthly fiscal close process, ensure close process is completed in an accurate and timely manner - preparation of accruals, pre-paid releases, posting of bank transactions
  • Intercompany Transfers and Cash Clearing
  • Reporting: Prepare and validate assigned reports. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ad hoc activities: in support of the Team Lead, Accenture Service Delivery lead and client


This role is currently remote, and does not require onsite work.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of financial accounting experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with ERP systems


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent work experience in payroll, accounting or finance
  • Cash Clearing and experience
  • Treasury Plus tool experience
  • Experience working with MS Excel (pivot, v-lookup)
  • SAP experience would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of GAAP's, SOX control and reporting standards/procedures

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $37,476-$68,800 information on benefits offered is here.
