Alongside award winning promotional agency services, The Marketing Store delivers global category management services to our biggest client - McDonald's. More specifically to the McDonald's Happy Meal product business. HAVI Sourcing provides similar category management services to McDonald's, among other clients, for consumer-facing packaging, uniforms and health and safety requirements.
In an effort to maximize numerous sourcing-related opportunities, grow our business and evolve our organizational efficiency, we are integrating our sourcing capabilities and activities into one entity. This enables us to align our skills and expertise, unlock the potential in our shared talent, provide access to a wider range of career opportunities and ultimately better serve our clients and customers.
Responsibilities
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Quality Manager has overall responsibility for implementation of the quality plan across supply partners to drive continuous improvement in packaging production for Chick Fil a. The individual in this position will work effectively with supply partners to validate alignment of capabilities and quality systems to deliver packaging products that are safe, of consistent predictable quality, and promote the respective brand image to meet the desired expectations of Chick Fil a. This role will be based at the Chick Fil a headquarters in Atlanta. This role should expect to travel approximately 15-20% of their time.

  • Effective implementation of the quality plan across supply partners
  • Drive continuous improvement activities in products and processes
  • Analyze, accept/reject corrective action from suppliers regarding non-compliances
  • Manage supply partner production data against specification (produce to target)
  • Manage Packaging Performance Management Program (Routine Case Testing)
  • Lead supplier onboarding activities for packaging suppliers
  • Conduct quality system verifications - on site audits
  • Implement quality practices and protocols in new product projects
  • Collaborate on test protocols and test plans
  • Review specifications for alignment and supplier capacity
  • Address field packaging issues by developing direct contact with select Owner/Operators, providing quick and consistent responses and serve as a resource to O/O's.
  • Support Speed-to-Market initiatives on new packaging items
  • On Site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer relating to all packaging quality


Desired Skills & Experience
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year college degree in engineering or other STEM discipline
  • 3 years packaging production quality experience (plastics or paper industry)
  • Experience with packaging manufacturing platforms such as paper forming/converting, graphic printing, injection molding, thermoforming
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistical process control and analytical problem solving
  • FSSC 22000, BRC, ISO 9000, LEAN, Six Sigma, TQM
  • Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt, CQM/OE, CQA or CQE
  • Professional Written and Verbal Communication skills
