The Documentation Quality Assurance Manager will help carry out benchmarking and audit activities for the Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) business. This individual will manage our Quality Assurance Specialists who execute audits, quality coaching, and note comparisons. The aim is to ensure that we have a wholesome visibility about quality and are helping teams with quality control and improvement. The goal is not just customer satisfaction, but customer delight. We want to ensure that DAX can deliver to its potential and then more!
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team (>=25) of Quality Assurance Specialists (QAS) to ensure on-time completion of audit and related tasks.
  • Monitor performance of team members through DAX QA portal reporting.
  • Counsel and mentor non-performing team members to ensure they meet productivity parameters.
  • Conduct Super Audit to ensure process and audit integrity, IAA>=85%, and implementation of quality principles.
  • Work with QAS to review provider instructions, error grading directives, quality standards and highlight inconsistencies with an aim at standardization and improved calibration.
  • Ensure the audit metrics according to MSS requirements are met on a week-to-week basis.
  • Collaborate with Quality Advisors to ensure expected delivery of analysis and related tasks within Note Comparison.
  • Manage and allocate spot audit to team members and track to completion.
  • Work with team to enable quality coaching and help with scheduling in collaboration with Operations.
  • Performs duties as required or per directive from the Quality Operations Manager to help run and support the Quality Assurance Program.


Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's preferred; Associate's or relevant certification with equivalent experience required.
Years of Experience: 1-2 years as Team Leader/Manager in the Quality Documentation business.
Required Skills:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team, lead, and adapt to change.
  • Should be credible, self-driven, result-oriented with positive outlook, team player and empathic communicator.
  • Knowledge of error grading per AHDI, quality principles, and its applications and ability to effectively help with reviews as required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in data analysis, identifying trends, and proposing and implementing actionable solutions.
  • Experience with Office 365 and cloud-based productivity tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and limit distractions to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a secure and private location on a personal computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Ability to work during regular business hours (10-6PM EST) and outside of regular business hours as needed.


Preferred Skills:

  • 2 years of scribing experience.
  • Familiarity with data mining tools & EHR systems.
