Here's the Gist
Cree Wolfspeed Semiconductor Quality division is seeking a proven, hands-on Quality Systems Manager to proactively lead the Document Management and Reporting System for Global Quality across the company. To be successful, this person must be a driven, self-motivated leader who can manage a system, and culture that is adept at continual improvement across multiple business functions and geographies.
The Day-to-Day:
- Provide tactical direction and leadership to the Document Control and Reporting Team to support Quality Management System processes and software, internal audits and documentation, and quality data needs.
- Lead team to ensure build out and sustaining of EtQ Quality Management System software modules, to support the Quality Management System, and associated documentation needs.
- Manage and improve the quality business process for customer requirements.
- Understand data needs for key quality metrics and enable automated solutions to drive efficiencies.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements)
- A Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Engineering, IT/Computer Systems, or other technical discipline. A Masters Degree is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with automotive and other large customer bases to include customer satisfaction expectations, quality systems, and continual improvement methods
- The ability to operate in a fast pace, highly dynamic environment, at a detailed execution level.
- Demonstrated capability of interacting with senior leaders through the organization and maintaining credibility and collaboration between the quality function and other business functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent performance management skills.
