As a Customer Engineer, in the Customer support Engineering team, you will support automotive customers while working within Micron's worldwide automotive Global Quality team.
You will be responsible for creating the Micron Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports for DRAM devices and moving them through the approval process and publishing them. This allows you to learn about automotive customer requirements, certifications, international standards and about several manufacturing process steps.
Responsibilities include:

  • CoDCQ (Certificate of Design, Construction and Qualification) document definition, required by the AEC Q100 certification for Automotive customer
  • Collection and Validation of Automotive documents related to PPAP (PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Qualification reports).
  • Management of related documents libraries in EDC.
  • More generally: follows broad instructions. Contributes to technical projects with some guidance. Solves problems of moderate complexity. Applies judgment in interpreting results and conducting quantitative analysis. Integrates thorough technical knowledge within discipline. Interacts with more experienced team members and managers to resolve complex problems. Applies knowledge of a single OR multiple sub-function. Develops project management skills. Regularly exchanges technical information with colleagues and managers.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years in an engineering discipline
  • Semiconductor manufacturing knowledge is preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to work across teams and different time zones
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to manage urgent customer needs
  • The ability to determine your decisions impact on project/team quality
  • Up to 25% travel


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
