Proposal Manager
Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Proposal Manager who will lead our company’s important, high-visibility proposals by developing schedules, leading standup and status meetings, removing obstacles and roadblocks that impede progress, scheduling and conducting color team reviews, performing iterative content reviews, and ensuring compliance. The successful candidate will have experience creating compliance matrices, annotated proposal templates, and proposal schedules. The candidate will manage the proposal process throughout the proposal lifecycle (i.e., proposal release, templating, storyboarding, questions submission and answers, color reviews, white glove, edits, compliance reviews, submission, and retrospective surveys for improvement). The candidate will participate in strategy and early capture sessions to define and refine strengths, value proposition, win themes, and discriminators. The candidate will have a strong focus on details to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to successfully manage proposals in response to Government solicitations in support of a variety of departments and agencies (DoD, IC, and Civilian).
- Experience managing proposals with IT solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing priorities.
- A willingness to work in a meritocratic team environment where the best idea wins.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite, to include developing and working with templates.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6-8 years experience with proposal management (or commensurate experience).
- US Citizenship and clearable to a Secret security clearance or higher.
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the Federal Government’s contracting processes; understanding of the Federal Government’s buying process/acquisition lifecycle.
- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Shipley proposal process.
- Experience in and/or understanding of technical concepts in the areas of cybersecurity, software development, data science, and systems engineering.
- Possesses an active U.S. Government clearance or has interest in obtaining a U.S. Government clearance.
