The Property Acquisition Assistant is a key contributor to the growing Acquisitions team, who works together to close purchases of single-family homes across the country. If you are passionate about customer service and have an eye for detail and timeline management, we want to talk to you!

A day in the life of a Property Acquisition Assistant:

  • Draft priority contracts for the MLS sales team

  • Managing Due Diligence and Closing time periods

  • Follow up on DD/Closing extensions

  • Receive and call listing agents to follow up on leases

  • Let listing agents know property is now in Post DD

  • Manage and update active files with strong attention to detail

  • Comply with timelines, acting with urgency on priority acquisitions, and following-up with contacts to inquire if additional information may be needed to best position us as a buyer

  • Perform additional duties as requested

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

  • No travel is expected for this position.

  • This is a full-time position. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, however, occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
