The opportunity

We are looking for a Professional Trainer to join our Training Services team at Unity. In this role, you will fulfill the creation of on-demand training content as well as the assets needed to support your content. You will use your background and technical expertise in collaboration with team members to develop and deliver outstanding training experiences to Unity customers globally. The training you build will provide our customers with the skills they need to succeed with Unity products!

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with Instructional Designers and our partners to develop training experiences for professional customers.
• Build high-quality assets and Unity projects that support a high-impact training experience.
• Use screen-capture software to develop video-based training content.

What we’re looking for

• Crafting content for virtual learning environments.
• Developing a wide variety of projects in Unity.
• Editing audio and video using TechSmith Camtasia and/or Adobe products.
• Building 2D and 3D assets with DCC packages like Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, Substance, and Photoshop.
• Scripting in Unity using C#.
• Working with a collaborative team where feedback is both given and received.

You might also have

• A portfolio of work visualized on ArtStation or a personal website.
• The CompTIA CTT+ Virtual Classroom Trainer Certification.
• Experience with content authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline or TechSmith Camtasia.
• Experience instructing technical topics in a classroom setting.
• Experience developing games, interactive content, or creative applications using Unity.
• Experience working as part of an Agile Scrum pipeline.
• Crafted technical educational content for other platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.
